King Tide (“we”, “us”) runs kingtide.com. This page explains what we collect when you visit or contact us, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, email, company, website, the services you are interested in, budget, timeline and your message. We use this only to reply to you and to plan any work together.
When you browse. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit, roughly where they come from and what device they use. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and receives your IP address, which Google uses to estimate location. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Server logs. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, browser and time) for security and reliability.
How we use it
To answer your inquiry, scope a project and stay in touch about it.
To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who processes it for us
Mailgun delivers contact form messages to our inbox. Google Workspace hosts that inbox. Google Analytics measures site usage. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Each acts on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms.
How long we keep it
Inquiries stay in our inbox for as long as they are useful for an ongoing or potential relationship, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Analytics account.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights under local law. We will honor them.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date below.
